We all spend money on granola bars at the store. It’s convenient and quick! The problem is some granola bars contain added sugars, extra calories and artificial ingredients. 🙅🏼♀️ So today I decided to take on the challenge of making them at home myself!! 😊
Ingredients:
1.5 cups oats (I used Soulfull Project)
1/3 cup natural nut butter (I used Seedible sesame butter from my Clean.Fit Box)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips – Enjoy Life
1 egg
1 tbsp Navitas goji berries
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds — you can add ANY ingredients you want here, walnuts, cashews, raisins, etc. —
Recipe:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F
2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir well
3. Place in 9×9 baking sheet (grease the baking sheet) and pack down and together. The mixture should be about 3/4 inch – 1 inch thick
4. Bake at 350 for 12ish minutes or until golden brown
5. LET COOL COMPLETELY! I say this often, but if you prematurely cut these they will crumble like granola
6. Once cooled slice into desired size and enjoy!
